Wachovia Customers
Citigroup will acquire the banking operations of Wachovia Corp. in a transaction facilitated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The FDIC has indicated that Wachovia Visa cardholders may continue to use their cards as they normally would.
Visa is committed to working with Citigroup, Wachovia and the FDIC to ensure a smooth and effective transition of the Visa card programs without any interruption in service to cardholders.

Washington Mutual Customers
JPMorgan Chase expects to convert Washington Mutual's consumer banking, home lending and credit card businesses to the Chase brand over the next two years. In the meantime, JPMorgan Chase has indicated that Visa cardholders may continue to use their Visa credit cards the same way they do today. Visa is committed to working with Washington Mutual, JPMorgan Chase and the FDIC to ensure a smooth and effective transition of the Visa credit card program without any interruption in service to cardholders.
