Visa Honored at 2005 Brand Excellence Awards
Visa was named one of six category winners at the 2005 American Brand Excellence Awards. At the second annual awards ceremony sponsored by City Business Journals Network (CBJN) in New York City, more than 1,000 business owners and partners selected Visa as an award recipient for its excellent performance in the financial category and its significant value to the small business sector.
Visa performed highly in multiple business criteria and was considered by participants to be, "easy to do business with", "forward thinking", "for growing companies", "growing in popularity", and the "industry leader". More than 200 brands were rated across all categories in the nationwide study.
"What makes the American Brand Excellence Awards unique is that business owners and partners are the ones telling us what they feel about the companies that support their businesses and help them grow," commented CBJN President, George M. Conley. "This year's winners are true leaders in their fields, and CBJN is proud to acknowledge them and celebrate their success."
